where things stand

miscover is in a waitlist phase. the website, the waitlist, the text-only preview at /decode, existing accounts and the miscover iphone app are running. messaging miscover through imessage is not open yet. this page will change before it is, and we will tell people on the waitlist when it does.

miscover runs on ai. it is not a person.

the waitlist

we keep the email address you give us, when you joined, when you confirmed it, where the link you came from said you came from (a campaign name or a referral code, never your contact details), and, only if you choose to answer, the country you live in and the messaging app you use most. we use these to confirm your place, to send your invitation, and to decide where to open next.

we email you to confirm your place and, later, to invite you. joining does not subscribe you to marketing.

the /decode preview

the three things you type are sent to anthropic's claude api to write the reading. the reading is kept for 24 hours as a preview tied to a cookie in your browser, and then deleted within seven days. it is not linked to you unless you choose to keep it, which needs either a signed-in account or a sign-in link sent to your email.

the references listed under a reading are search links suggested by the model. we have not checked them.

accounts and the iphone app

if you have an account, we keep your email, what you capture (screenshots, the words you add, your verdicts on readings), any archive file you upload, the readings and finds miscover writes, and the connections it draws between them. screenshots are stored privately and are served only to your signed-in account. captures are processed by anthropic's claude api to produce readings.

you can delete your account at miscover.com/account, signed in. it is deleted seven days after you ask, and signing in before then cancels it. deletion removes your account, your captures and their images, your readings and finds, your messages with miscover and your place on the waitlist. the connections miscover drew from your captures are kept with your identity removed: their words remain, no longer linked to you.

who processes data for us

vercel hosts the site and stores private images and runs privacy-preserving page analytics (we strip query strings and private links from what it sees). neon hosts the database. resend sends our emails. anthropic's claude api writes readings. we do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

your choices

to have your waitlist entry deleted, to ask what we hold about you, or to correct it, email hello@miscover.com. we will answer within 30 days.
